About the AM Investor Sessions
Advanced Manufacturing (AM) is the industrial term for 3D Printing. In addition to allowing for the creation of bespoke parts and new product design, AM also enables organizations to develop virtual critical stock and new production processes, therefore impacting supply chain management in a potentially extremely significant way.
Over the last few years, we have seen that a better alignment of the AM industry would be greatly beneficial for the adoption of these new production technologies by traditional industries. We have also seen several sizeable investments in AM technology, as well as some significant acquisitions.
With these Sessions, we aim to provide better access to capital for growing companies in the entire AM landscape. From software development to material creation, and from 3D printer manufacturers to component suppliers. And from anywhere in the world.

Why is AM a high-potential segment to invest in?
Additive Manufacturing (AM) is the industrial term for 3D Printing. In addition to allowing for the creation of bespoke parts and new product design, AM also enables organizations to develop virtual critical stock and new production processes, therefore impacting supply chain management in a potentially extremely significant way.
Examples of specific industries in which AM is making rapid inroads include Aerospace & Aviation, Medical Devices & Healthcare, Automotive, Oil & Gas, Transportation & Mobility, Machining & Tooling, with spare part management providing a very strong business case on a horizontal level (better quality parts, lighter materials, less material waste, lower inventory counts, etc).
For example: in 2019 the global market size for spare parts in Automotive and Aviation was $278B and $907B respectively, with an approximate 4% Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR). Today, about 5% of all spare parts would be suitable for manufacturing using AM technologies. It’s estimated that over the next three years, this percentage will at least double, if not triple.
What is offered and expected during the AM Investor Sessions?

- No obligation to invest in presenting companies, nor any obligation to meet with presenting companies.
- However, we do expect investors to be able to engage presenting companies in the geographical location of the event. For example, US-based investors only looking to invest in North American companies will not obtain a pass for the Europe or APAC events.

We do recommend that participants don’t share confidential information during the pitch; there’s plenty of opportunity to schedule one-on-one meetings with interested investors and provide extra precautions such as signing an NDA, if needed.
About the organizers
MFORA is an event company established primarily to raise the industrial profile of Additive Manufacturing. Its founders have decades of experience building industry platforms and organizing trade shows and conferences in various fields of emerging technologies.
